North – Sonar Prime Edition

We’ve engineered the MAv2 Prime Edition to make your foiling journey easier, get you over the hump faster and shorten your learning curve. It’s the ideal starter kit for progressing in all foil disciplines. Compatible with all North Foil products and fully interchangeable, the Prime Edition is made up of our Prime Mid Aspect Front Wing (MA1200v2 to MA2400v2), Freeride/0 Series Stabilizer, A700 Fuselage, Aluminium AF80 Mast and AF Board Adaptor. The Prime pre-preg e-glass construction front wings are engineered from the same moulds as our carbon pre-preg front wings and deliver the same high performance, durability and impact resistance as the carbon pre-preg, at a more accessible price. The Prime Edition comes in a spacious, multi-functional, padded bag with compartments for each component, screws, tools and marine grease. All Sonar Foil Systems are compatible with any foilboard with an industry-standard 165x90mm mast track.

Modular Foil System – Customize your ride with our fully interchangeable foil components to explore multiple disciplines and riding styles all with one setup. Compatible with any Sonar Foil parts.
MAv2 Prime Front Wing – A stable, easy to use Freeride Wing, delivering durability and impact resistance at a more accessible price. The Sonar Prime Edition is compatible with all Sonar Front Wings.
Sonar AF80 Mast – The aluminium mast balances lightweight design and exceptional strength, and performs across all disciplines. Update with any Sonar Mast from 55cm to 110cm or an Integrated Foil Drive mast.
GeoLock Load Bearing Connection – North’s unique tapered geometry locking system. Screws engage the GeoLock, so the load transfer takes place over the full cross-section of the mast profile, mast and fuse feel like one piece.
Freeride Carbon Stabilizer – Sized to match your foil, the carbon pre-preg rear Stabilizer provides control and riding comfort. It’s positioned on top of the Fuse for a clean, undisturbed flow and surface breach recovery.
Sonar AF Foil Board Adaptor – FE-Analysis helped increase strength in the highest stress areas and reduce unnecessary weight in lower stress areas. Strong geometry locking connection for energy transfer and direct feel.
Industry-standard 165x90mm bolt pattern – Compatible with any 90mm foilboard track, and our unique DropBox fast-foil mounting system, where a guide next to the track aids correct positioning. Board attachment screws sold separately.
Supplied with Sonar Travel Bag – Heavy Duty 600D Padded Travel Bag, fits multiple wings and masts inside their individual covers. Also has enough depth to leave the Board Adaptor and mast connected, for faster foil packdowns.
